Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Mid-Level Program Manager to manage, lead, and coordinate complex information technology projects for a mission-critical program in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT project leadership, a strategic mindset, and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively between technical teams and business stakeholders
Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of assigned projects from initiation through delivery.
- Serve as the single point of contact for project stakeholders.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive work plans including schedules, cost estimates, resource plans, and performance metrics.
- Lead and facilitate regular project meetings and provide project tracking, analysis, and reporting.
- Ensure project adherence to established quality standards and review all deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate and manage integration of vendor tasks and track vendor deliverables.
- Provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams, leveraging deep subject matter expertise.
- Analyze new and complex project challenges and develop innovative, effective solutions.
- Recommend corrective actions and lead the resolution of technical or management issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret clearance is required.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant program or project management experience.
- In lieu of 5 years of experience, equivalent certifications or past demonstrable work may be considered
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to operate with latitude and creativity in developing methodologies and solving complex problems.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
- Experience working with government agencies, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
