Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager – Deskside Services to lead and manage deskside support operations in support of its mission-critical IT infrastructure. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operation, administration, and performance of a large-scale service desk contract, ensuring the highest levels of service delivery, compliance, and security.
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall project management and technical leadership of the deskside services IT contract.
- Manage day-to-day operations and performance of deskside and helpdesk personnel supporting FBI systems and users.
- Ensure the contract is adequately staffed at 95% or higher, maintaining qualified, cleared personnel at all times.
- Collaborate with the PMO, FSO, and Recruiting teams to handle personnel life cycle actions: hiring, onboarding, access, and terminations.
- Coordinate with FBI stakeholders to maintain 100% compliance with Visitor Access Requests (VARs), avoiding any access lapse.
- Maintain the security integrity of all contract tasks, systems, and user interactions across all levels.
- Deliver all contract deliverables and performance metrics accurately and on time.
- Provide administrative and technical direction to a team of 40+ IT professionals.
- Ensure all documentation meets FBI standards and procedural requirements.
- Maintain consistent, transparent, and professional communication with FBI leadership regarding contract status, risks, and staffing.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Top-Secret (TS) clearance
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Information Technology, with 5+ years in helpdesk/deskside support environments.
- At least 5 years in a management position, preferably leading a help desk, service desk, or deskside support function.
- One or more of the following certifications required:
- PMI PMP
- CompTIA Project+
- HDI Desktop Support Manager
- HDI Support Center Manager / Lead / Director
- ITIL Foundation certification highly preferred.
- Experience working in a law enforcement (LE) agency, with prior FBI experience, is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience managing teams of 40 or more IT personnel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of FBI processes, security protocols, and administrative procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse technical teams under a high-security, high-demand environment.
- Skilled in conflict resolution, personnel management, and operational risk mitigation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, able to interface directly with federal leadership.
- Results-oriented with a strong focus on mission delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement.
